RESTORATIVE Yoga

Restorative yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is focused on relaxation and restoring the body and mind.

It involves holding poses for extended periods of time, typically between 5-10 minutes, while using props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks to support the body in each pose.

Restorative yoga is different from other more active forms of yoga, such as Vinyasa or Ashtanga, because it is designed to slow down the body and calm the mind.

It is a great way to reduce stress and anxiety, and can be especially helpful for people who are recovering from an injury or dealing with chronic pain or illness.

Yoga NIDRA

Yoga nidra is a form of guided relaxation and meditation that is often practiced lying down in a comfortable position.

The practice is designed to promote deep relaxation and rest, and involves a series of verbal instructions that lead the practitioner through a process of releasing tension in the body, calming the mind, and connecting with a sense of inner peace and stillness.

During a yoga nidra practice, the practitioner is guided through a series of stages, which may include a body scan, conscious breathing, visualization, and other relaxation techniques.

YIN Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow, gentle form of yoga that focuses on stretching the connective tissues in the body, including the fascia, ligaments, and tendons.

It is a passive practice that involves holding poses for several minutes, typically 3-5 minutes, and is often practiced with the support of props such as blankets, bolsters, or blocks.

Unlike more active forms of yoga, which often involve moving quickly through a sequence of poses, Yin yoga is a slow and meditative practice.

The focus is on relaxing the muscles and using gravity and time to gently stretch the connective tissues in the body.
